In 2000, the TransParenting added a list of Children's Rights to the back cover of the Parent Handbook. These poignaint words give insight into the mind of a child facing divorce. It offers parents a way to stay focused on children's true desires and, consequently, move through challenges of divorce rather than remaining stuck in conflict with each other. Research consistently reveals the damage done to children whose parents remain in conflict. The Children's Rights keeps adults from inflicting additional emotional damage to the children living with parental divorce and separation.
